Visual brand Philosophy Design

Lifting Lives is a charity established in Spring 2026 to manage the Community Benefit Fund for LHC Procurement Group (LHCPG). Working with Philosophy Design, I was responsible for naming and positioning the charity, enabling development of the visual brand, defining key messages and writing the charity’s first website.

The brand launched at the end of a substantial consultation process with LHCPG and its board. A range of options for the organisational structure were considered, each with different implications for how the Group, its Regional Hubs, and the new charity would be positioned.

In the immediate term, Lifting Lives is solely managing the CBF for LHCPG, but the intention over time is to grow the charity and its partnerships, enabling distribution of other funds and the support of many more projects.

Making an impact in local communities was a core component of the Lifting Lives positioning, building on LHCPG’s own commitment to local communities. The funds distributed support wide-ranging voluntary, community and social enterprises, particularly those that are innovative and impactful and help people with the greatest need.

The launch website aimed to promote Lifting Lives with LHCPG’s existing customers and partners in the first instance, who up until the establishment of Lifting Lives had liaised with LHCPG’s Regional Hubs on fund applications and projects. Reinforcing how local projects would continue to be supported was essential.
